| Architecture is the balance of three simple things; mind, body and spirit.
How I interpret this for each of my clients is what makes each of the projects unique to them. The designs are as straight forward as possible in order to emphasis the essence of each material, quality and play of day and night light and the spaces are created to encourage discoveries within. I work with strong concepts to guide the process.
Sustainability is something I practice as a matter of course through budgets, life cycle costs and maintenance and a light foot print.
My hands have had and continue to have the fortune of working with stone, metal and wood. For me, these elements in their pure form embody mind, body and spirit.
Thank you for visiting my site. I look forward to working with you-

"I had an immense advantage over many others dealing with the problem inasmuch as I had no fixed ideas derived from long-established practice to control or bias my mind, and did not suffer from the general belief that whatever is, is right."
Henry Bessemer discoverer of new method of producing steel

"Sustainability.
"We ought to keep it simple, practical and thereby attainable. For architects and designers, there are only three principles:
If it doesn't have a purpose; don't build it. If it isn't renewable; don't use it. And if it doesn't inspire; it doesn't matter."
Greg Atchley, AIA Partner, N/A Design Studio
